Tea: Every movement is hell for me. It feels like a red-hot knife is stabbing into my body. I can't even buy painkillers. Cheap ones don’t work for me. The pain doesn't stop for a second. I want to scream out in pain, but I can't - my mother will get scared. She already reacts to my every move with tears... she sits away from me and cries... God, what am I doing to her. I tell her: don't cry, it's not like I'm dead, and I'm not going to... I'll endure this pain and won’t leave you. The bed I'm lying on is already falling apart, the springs are digging into my sides. And I don't even dare dream of a new bed. We don't even have money for bread. Sometimes I think the simplest things - a comfortable bed and a TV - would bring me peace of mind, and I would not feel like an outcast!

Beso: I'm not like everyone else and my life wasn't interesting. My mother does everything for me, and then I spent the whole day in my damn wheelchair. Now I have a sense of purpose. I'm happy to wake up in the morning and turn on my computer and there I have the whole world. I can watch movies and play games and talk to someone! I am so happy. It feels like I am not sick anymore, as if I am cured!

Ramaz: It has been 14 years since I have been a prisoner of my paralyzed body. For 14 years, I have been unable to do anything independently. My wife, mother, and brother fight for every day of my life. My brother carries me in his arms like an infant, my mother feeds me, my wife dresses me... is this the life of a young man? But what can I do? God did not take me when I injured my spine due to an unfortunate accident, condemning me and my loved ones to eternal suffering.

Almost like in a coffin! But in the ground, you at least don't feel pain, and you don’t need anything anymore ... If only I had a TV - to hear that I'm still alive and that Georgia is alive!

Levan: I am suffering! Living is very painful for me! My knees have turned into one big sore callus. It's painful to go down the stairs, but it's even more painful to stay at home trapped within four walls, like a condemned criminal. If I don't go outside, I'll most likely go insane. My mother can't carry me down anymore – I'm a grown adult. I have one dream – to stand on my feet and take at least one step. every day I pray to God for healthy and working legs. Perhaps He will hear me! For anyone who can hear me, I really, really need a proper bed! The mattress I sleep on now has rusty springs sticking out. When I turn, they dig into my skin. Well, I also need a wheelchair because I'm always borrowing one from kind people, but it's all broken. Lord, when will these trials end?! Help!

Nikoloz: I can't see anything. I even go to a special school for blind children. We have one very interesting thing there - a piano! I've never heard such beautiful sounds before. I'll probably play it when I grow up. I dream of a small piano that can fit in our house. I also dream of a Barbie house. I'll imagine that I live there, and I'll be happy. I also want a lot of delicious things: cake, meat, milk, yogurt, ice cream, sausages, and dumplings.

Marina: My days are numbered. I do not know how much suffering I have left - I can no longer endure the pain. My skin has peeled off and the ulcers are bleeding. I have no one to take care of me but my son. My husband left me 14 years ago when he found out I had cancer. Since then, I have been fighting disease and poverty. God gave me the best son. He cooks food for me, gives me injections, feeds me, and manages to study well, to be the best student at school at the same time. I beg you, when I'm gone, please, take care of Giorgi! The Lord will bless you all! – Is there anything that can ease your suffering and pain? Marina: I need a bed and some delicious food for the days I have left. All my money is spent on medications.

All people look different, and we shouldn't judge them by their appearance! When I said that I wanted to sing and dreamed of a microphone and speakers, they laughed at me. They said, "You have nothing to eat, why sing?" But is a person satisfied with bread alone? In the evening, I sit with my mom and aunt, and I sing them songs, and they are happy. What else is there for us to do?

Mamuka: I've been lying like a corpse for years. No one remembered me, no one cared about me. I didn't expect anyone to take my request seriously. I asked for a razor and a TV, and within a month all my dreams came true! God, you heard my prayers, you heard my request! Here I am, lying and thinking about how to thank all these people for their kindness! But they do not need my gratitude because God will reward them himself!
