REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
Ketevan has neither a home nor relatives.
"Sikoria deda," Ketevan repeats and cries again. Then she obediently allows Matsatso to take care of her. She eats soup from a spoon and listens to the praise of how good a girl she is. Matsatso changes her diaper and takes her for a little ride in a wheelchair around the yard.
After her stroke, she needs to be fed with a spoon and wear diapers.
And the tears keep flowing. Her right arm is immobile, and her right leg is too. Her tongue is unresponsive and sluggish. Her eyes see nothing... This is what the stroke did to Ketevan. No, this is what a state can do to a person. Look at the helpless Ketevan and be careful! This is the high price one can pay for trying to get help from the state.
This is what a person broken by the state looks like.
73-year-old Ketevan has nothing of her own now – no shirt, no pillow. She is alive only because an old acquaintance, Natela Goderidze, took her in. Ketevan lost her home and belongings in one day – June 13, 2015, when the Vere River flooded. She was left homeless, receiving only a one-time handout of 300 lari.
The Vere River destroyed Ketevan's house, but officials were much more ruthless – they gave 300 lari and left her on the street.
God, make sure nothing happens to the people of Georgia! Because if a disaster happens tomorrow – a flood, an earthquake – any of us could become a homeless person whom no one will care for!
Ketevan rented a room in Natela’s house and paid rent regularly. Until she had a stroke. Until one day her body became limp and lifeless. The courts and disputes over the house and land broke Ketevan, putting her in a wheelchair. Human beings have a limit, human being is not made of steel.
From a full of life elegant woman, she turned into an old woman with no tongue, no memory....
Now Ketevan cannot pay the rent. She is a severely ill bedridden patient who doesn't even remember what happened to her. Her way of communicating is two words “sikoria deda” and tears, with which she complains about her health, says thank you, shows pain, or asks for something.
The right side of her body doesn't work, any movement is pain and torture.
It only depends on us now: will Ketevan remain an immobile doll, or will she be able to get back on her feet with rehabilitation?
Ketevan has no husband or children, she has no relatives left. Natela takes care of her like her own. She pities her former tenant and remembers what a good person she is. When disaster struck Ketevan, Natela was there, nursing her. She believed that Ketevan could breathe and eat without tubes and did not allow a stoma to be put in her throat.
It is possible to bring Ketevan back on her feet. She needs medicine, diapers, examinations, rehabilitation. When they tell her that she will get better and be the same, she cries the hardest. The brain that suffered a stroke has not erased all the pictures of her former life. She was very smart – a philologist by profession. And the hand that now hangs limply used to create culinary wonders.
Ketevan was a charming Georgian beauty...
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD! It’s extremely important!
Ketevan won't even see those of us who want to help her. Let's pray to the “All-Holy” for Ketevan’s recovery and help her with rehabilitation. The stroke took her sight. But our eyes see the bitter plight that befell her, see her helplessness. Let's say a prayer to the Mother of God for Ketevan's healing and help her with rehabilitation.
Every time you can help someone, just do it, and rejoice that God answers someone's prayers through you!
We are sure that all together we will manage to save Ketevan from imminent death.
